About
Two people, and a business that lives in Lansing
KSquared Tech Solutions was founded in 2024 by Keaton Myers and Kurt Henderson. The two K's are the founders, and there is no layer of account managers between you and them.
Why we started it
Small businesses around Lansing kept ending up with the same deal. Either an IT company large enough that nobody knew their name, working from an office an hour away, or a single person who was excellent right up until they retired, moved, or stopped picking up.
We thought a fifteen-machine office deserved the thing in between: monitoring and security that runs properly, response times written into an agreement instead of promised on a call, and someone who can be in the building this afternoon.
Who you’ll deal with
Kurt Henderson
Co-founder

Kurt lives in Lansing and handles the on-site work, which is most of the reason a job that needs hands on it gets done the same day rather than next week. He also runs a good share of the conversations with new clients.
Keaton Myers
Co-founder

Keaton handles remote support along with the side of the business nobody sees: the agreements, the planning, the quoting, and making sure what we promised in writing is what actually happens.
Why being here matters to us
A good number of Lansing businesses are supported by companies thirty to fifty miles away. That works fine until something needs a person standing in front of it, and then a twenty-minute job becomes an afternoon of waiting behind three other stops.
We cover Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Haslett, Holt, Grand Ledge, DeWitt, Mason, Charlotte and St. Johns, along with the surrounding communities. It’s a deliberately modest area. We’d rather be genuinely quick across Greater Lansing than claim half of Michigan and disappoint most of it.
How we work
A flat fee, per device
You know the bill before the month starts, and nobody hesitates to report a problem because of what it might cost. The three plans are here.
Hardware at our cost
When you buy a laptop or a server through us, you pay what we pay. Marking up hardware is normal in this industry and we decided not to do it.
Response times in writing
A 30-minute commitment on critical issues, in every agreement, on every plan. In practice one of us is usually answering inside fifteen minutes.
Straight answers
If a machine has two good years left, we’ll say so instead of quoting a replacement. If you don’t need a plan yet, we’ll say that too.
Two partnerships extend what we can cover: OIT VoIP for phone service, and SensCy for cybersecurity.
The tools and partners behind every plan
Start with a 90-day plan
An hour on site, at no cost. You get a written plan covering what needs attention now, what can wait, and roughly what it costs. Yours to keep either way.
